John Bradley Decorators
John Bradley has been a well-established local decorator for more than 35 years.
It has always been important to us that the same standard and quality of work be maintained just like when we did the jobs ourselves. We are very proud of our team and have now worked with most of them for over 15 years. Aside from being excellent decorators they are truly good people who are polite and nice to have around.
Loosely we cover areas within a 20 mile radius of East Grinstead.

Before starting any job, we do a free quotation and put in writing the exact specifications as agreed with the customer. We then work hard to meet these exact requirements and within the time frame and budget agreed.
Our payment terms are payment at the end of the job on receipt of invoice. We do not ask for upfront payments. Occasionally on very large jobs we may ask for stage payments.
I have a diploma in interior design and am very happy to offer advice as to colour schemes, etc. and can provide colour charts.
We work 7 days a week and do quotes in the evenings as well, so we can always find a time that suits you best.
We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance.
We follow the regulations as outlined by the Health and Safety policies, as well as common sense.
For any work outside of interior and exterior decorating, we have contacts of trusted tradesman that we have come to know and are happy to recommend.
We use the Johstone’s Trade paints for most interior work. For exterior we use Dulux Weathershield Trade paints. For metalwork we generally use Hammerite or Johnstone’s Smooth Metal. On customer request we will use Farrow & Ball or any other designer or eco-friendly paints.
Domestic and Commercial Decorators
Whilst we have continued to offer our decorating services to the domestic market we have also expanded into the commercial market and carry out larger projects. We work well to deadlines and thus have carried out innumerable contracts for schools where specific projects have to be completed during the school holidays. We have also carried out the re-decoration of many office blocks and landmark buildings in local towns, such as Crown House and Broadley Brothers in East Grinstead, Redhill Chambers in Redhill High Street, The Old Municipal Buildings in Bromley, the full exterior re-decoration of a prominent hotel in Tunbridge Wells, Gotwick Manor in Hammerwood, etc.
We also specialize in paperhanging and have decorated very beautiful homes using specialist paints and designer wall papers.

Aside from painting and paper hanging we have also taken on full home renovation projects which involve plastering, carpentry and electrical work as well as fitting new bathrooms.
